A good friend and talented singer Cristina Marino has been a part of Audio Imagery for the past couple years. I have always felt bad that I never really worked solely on her tracks because she loves doing this just as much as I do. Hopeless was the one song I produced and recorded for her in 2006. It was my first time attempting to create a song around one already semi-formulated. Honestly I forgot all about this song but we both put a lot of work into it so you know what… We are sharing it with you. We are exchanging text messages right now and we both agree that we are much better at our respective crafts now but its a piece of our music history. Enjoy.

So Here is another throwback remix from off the HUSH album. Clap song was greatly influenced (read: ripped) off another group from Africa. We heard it and thought the vibe was good and made an almost duplicate of the song. We changed it just enough to make it our own but its pretty close to the guys who originally did it. Anywho, during a phase in 2008 I went through and started remixing a bunch of songs off the HUSH album. This is one of them. It has a bit more of a club feel to it. Anyway, enjoy!

On the album HUSH, which came out early 2007 there was a song Audio Imagery wrote along with two groups – Everything Ends and Phantasm. They both are wonderful bands and a complete pleasure to work with. We worked together to create a song called Throwing Rocks. The original vibe was very rocky and allowed all of the bands involved to explore genres outside of their own. It was a great experience and I can’t wait for something similar to occur. Shout out to Cos, LP and ANTI for their help with the making of this track as well – wouldn’t be the same without their input. Audio Imagery will be releasing the original mix in the next few days but I was looking through our old material and I stumbled upon these remixes that were made with the intension of making a remix album to HUSH. The album never happened but there were a few tracks that were created. This is one of them. Enjoy!

This song was one of the first musical collaborations of Audio Imagery. We really wanted to break the mold of being your regular rap group and try something different. We push our boundaries with instrumentation – using guitar and bass as the cornerstone of the track. This is also a track we used the lovely voice of Crissy, Baby Val and Jillian. Thank you to you lovely ladies – miss working with you. This song brings back so many good memories!

This song really is the quintessential Throwback Audio Imagery song. I still agree with every word in this song. I remember recording part of this in my dorm room back in south halls at Penn State. Dang… good times…
