Audio Imagery at the Radio Station. B94.5 @ Penn State. Yes, Penn State. Acting silly and debuting the new Michael Jackson song on the radio. I’m a little out of mind when I get up that early. But its fun though. It feels good to know there are fans out there who appreciate the music we do. When an artist says “I do it for my fans” they are half speaking the truth. They do it for themselves but it really doesn’t have its complete meaning until they have a fan or two that lets them know that their music speaks to them. Well maybe I’m speaking about me… I appreciate every fan, every listen someone gives to an Audio Imagery song. I appreciate all the things people have done to help further this music. This music is my life and I am happy to share it with you and B94.5fm. Okay enough of me being ‘deep’. Listen, laugh, and enjoy your day.

PJ, the #1 Radio DJ in state college made a great mix and invited me to be a part of it. He mixed Jay Sean’s 2012 (It Ain’t the End) feat. Nicki Minaj and Flo Rida’s Club Can’t Handle Me feat. David Guetta and then asked for Audio Imagery to be a part of the mix. Thanks for the opportunity good sir. I always have a great time working with everyone from B94.5FM. Crazy voices, crazy costumes and crazy fun at the radio station again. This time I debuted the remix “Just A Dream” by Nelly. It was a lot of fun to make this track and it was exciting to play it on the radio. I guess thats expected by now. I didn’t get dressed up for the Halloween festivities but there were a few at the radio station holding it down. PJ makes fun of me because of the sand dunes I use as my background in the video associated with the Just A Dream. Audio Imagery loves B94.5!

B94.5 Debut of “Transport”

A few days prior to me going to the radio station i was letting a few friends of mine listen to some of the new tracks along with the videos. They appreciated them all (or at least they said so to my face, lol) but this song seemed to connect with them the most. Its a pretty basic song – nothing crazy happens, there isn’t even a bridge. But I think the music and the story being told lyrically create the atmosphere for a good song.

So after weeks of trying to get this song played on the air (watch this if you don’t know what I’m talking about: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dd11pdlQa6s). The day finally came and went and it was fun like it usually was in the studio. In fact I have to say that morning like the one I had with PJ and the Zoo Crew put the biggest smile on my face. PJ went through a bunch of the remixes I have done leading up to this point. He even went back to last year’s lady gaga remixes. The crew just commented on their favorite parts and they genuinely showed appreciation. Makes all the hard work worth it. Thanks guys… Enjoy the vid.

So, They got me good. I went into the radio station last week. I gave PJ a cd with my song on it for that week. He acts like he loads it then plays a different song from a guy named LV. A song I never heard before then makes me think I gave him the wrong CD. I get mad at myself because I’m too sleepy to realize what happened until I got home.

Hot Dog. Isn’t that what people say from like 1940 when something crazy happens? Either way PJ and the Morning Zoo got me good. I hate to admit it but its true.

So it was a regular morning. Me acting ridiculous… driving my car… half asleep… eating pop-sickles… drinking coffee… and Anger. Yes. Anger for making me think I’m crazy!!! Well not really anger. Its more like the deepest loathing one can muster from the belly of the Freddy Kruger and Godzilla combined covered in locusts mixed with bread and butter pickles. Why bread and butter pickles? Because they are gross!

Okay so I’m really not mad but its funny to think so.

So of course shenanigans goes down at the radio station prior, during and after people call in a decide which remix they want on the air for that week.
From Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to getting hit on by the ladies of the B-Crew Audio Imagery does what it does second best – be ridiculous.

B94.5 Bruno Mars vs Matisse Remix (Sept 24th, 2010)

Sooooo yeah… I forgot to tell Ian the audio recorded for the video was sitting in our email. So he didn’t put it on the video when he made it. So that just means the video is as raw as we are musical masterminds – sooooo moderate? j/k We know how to make a song and we know it… is it cocky if you know its true?? Sign me already.
Anyway, last week PJ from the radio station put me on to this new chick named Matisse. Good Lord. She is prettyyyyyyyyyy hot. I think Mike Posner thought of her when he made the Cooler Than me song. Anywho, I was able to get the accapella and I totally redid the beat with Ian’s help. Gave it less of a techno feel and more of Audio Imagery. Everything needs more of Audio Imagery!
So of course craziness ensues during the morning we recorded this. We don’t know how to act sane at that hour in the morning.
To make a long story short, Matisse won and Bruno is in second place for the time being.

The video is crazy! I was a little sleep deprived calling into the radio station. They kept me on hold forever. So I ramble for a bit.

Another week on the radio! Audio Imagery can’t be stopped!!! Each week we will be releasing a remix on Friday on the radio and online.
The listeners called in to B94.5 and let us know which remix they wanted in rotation for this week.
It was a competition between the Train remix of “Soul Sister” and the Maroon 5 Remix of “Misery”!
And the winner is………………..

We want people’s feedback. What song do we do next? Nothing is off limits. It can be old, new or unreleased! How is that possible? I have nooo idea but we’ll get it done. See you next week at 7:15 on B94.5 for the new remix… What will it be??????
